About Zachary Gary Domrese
Zachary Gary Domrese, 31, of Queen Creek passed away on February 18, 2024. He was born on February 3, 1993. Zach was the Director of Patron Technology and Database Administrator for The Phoenix Theatre Company. A career that he loved and a company he could take pride in. Zach was a family man who would move mountains to take care of his family and friends. His smile would light up a room and his special brand of humor could make anyone laugh. His memory lives on in all the lives he touched. Knowing Zachary was the greatest honor. Zachary was a kind soul who cared more about those around him than himself. Which is why he was an organ and tissue donor, even though he was ripped away from us too soon, his loss will save many lives.
Zachary graduated high school with honors from Avon High School (Indiana), Class of 2011. Zachary was an accomplished Tuba soloist and ensemble. During this time he was a 3 time Bands Of America grand national champion. Played for the All-Star band and was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York City. He was then given a scholarship to play at Butler University, where he played in shows such as Shun Ye, The Nutcracker, and many more. He received his Arts and Administration Bachelor’s Degree in 2015. His love for music and art never waned. After college, he went straight to working for nonprofit theatres. Moving from theatre to theatre until he found a job to call home. Anyone who knew him got to listen to his passion for The Phoenix Theatre Company. If you are ever fortunate enough to go see a show he would find it a great honor. He wanted everyone to get to experience the magic of a Phoenix Theatre show.
Zachary is preceded in death by his cousin; Andrew Watkins. Zachary is survived by his daughter, Celia Domrese and her mother Abigail Clarke; parents, Jeffry Domrese and Barbara Domrese; sister, Olivia Domrese (Marcus); niece, Sophia Domrese; nephew, Skylar Domrese; grandparents, Jimmie and Susan Watkins, Gary and Linda Domrese, Catherine and Ken Mueller; Fiancee, Amanda Jones and her daughters Harmony and Charlotte; uncles, Paul Watkins, Steven Watkins (Bill Nix); Ryan Domrese; aunts, Kimberly Bradshaw and Carey Rodriguez.
