Messages of Love

From family and friends

Tammy Judd May 13, 2026
Wayne Roy Judd (1947 - 2026) It was 1986... You took our family camping in the White Mountains. Someone had loaned you a chainsaw for the trip and I remember you cut enough firewood to light a city on fire... You ran that chainsaw all day long on our first day out there... Which obviously chased out the other campers in the area that most certainly were hoping for a little peace and quiet in mother nature that weekend. Then, later that evening, we all sat around the campfire and you looked around with a grin on your face and said proudly, "Well, the Judd's lucked out again... We got the whole camp-ground to ourselves!" Dad, I had such a hard time understanding you when I was growing up. And that disconnect was not easy. But as an adult, I can truly appreciate that you lived as the person you truly were... Loud, proud and unapologetically... You were simply... You. Memories that once made me cringe in embarrassment, now leave me with only feelings of endearment and a quiet respect for a man who lived boldly and with very little fear. Your family knows you are preparing a place for us all to be together again one day... A place with plenty of firewood, I imagine. But until then, don't worry because you taught us all, well dad... We're going to be strong and keep "Plugging Away"... Just like you taught us to do. Surviving family members, are his devoted spouse, Katherine Judd, daughter, Tammy Judd (Tigger), son, Matthew Judd (Toose), daughter Diana Ponce Judd (Binky), and son, David Judd (Lil' Boy). We all love you Dad. And we look forward to the day we will all be together once more. ♥️ Your daughter, Tigger
