About Theodore Scott Hodges
Tod is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Anthony Maffei, son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Lauren Hodges, and two granddaughters, Hailey and Harper Hodges all of Gilbert, Arizona. Tod is also survived by his siblings Betsy Storey of Phoenix, Arizona, William Hodges of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Nancy Brown of Scottsdale, Arizona. Tod was predeceased by parents, William and Pearl Hodges, and brother, Frank Hodges.
Tod was known for his love of sports, music, and his family. He was an avid Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals fan and found a tremendous amount of joy in watching all their games and competing in fantasy baseball and football leagues. Tod has loved all music throughout his life and enjoyed adding to his extensive album and CD collection of his favorites over the years. When he was younger, he would dress up and perform like Elvis and pay tribute to Jimmy Buffett’s Cheeseburger in Paradise at parties by throwing lettuce and tomato into the crowd. What Tod loved most and was most proud of was his family. He was a loving and devoted father to Ryan and Sara and cherished the holidays and other family functions spent with his immediate and extended family, most of whom live in Arizona.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at The Bridge Church in Gilbert, Arizona and his final resting place will be in the Valley Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
