Shirley Ann Edington

Shirley Ann Edington passed away on March 25, 2021 in Glendale, AZ at the age of 84. She spent her career life as a teacher, specializing in Special Education. Teaching at Bath Schools in Bath, Michigan and then later career years on the Navajo Indian reservation in Arizona. Her love of working with the Special Education children on the Indian reservation brought her great joy. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana to Valeria and David Delaney on June 17, 1936.

She is survived by her four children – Cheryl Brown, Joe Kerckaert, Mark Kerckaert and Susan Parsons, her half brother Scott Sumpter, her half sister Sandy Kunard, 12 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwaine Edington. The family takes relief in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is at peace with Jesus. She will remain in our hearts and be missed each day.
