My thoughts and love go out to his eternal companion, Linda and his amazing family. Ron is my forever hero and mentor. My scoutmaster. He was so kind and thoughtful. As one who did not have a father in the home, he made sure I never missed a fathers and sons campout, and he taught many lessons of how to be a good husband, father, priesthood holder, and a overall decent man. He mostly lead by example, but I still remember many of his lectures and teaching moments as a rowdy scout at camp. They were definitely needed. He invested his time and talents, he willingly served my family and many families in our ward. I express my admiration and gratitude to this wonderful man. God bless the Birkmeyer family during this challenging time. Love you guys.
