Obituary

Ray (JC) Church of Chandler, AZ passed away on June 10, 2021 at the age of 68. JC was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who loved him most. He loved his dog, Sissy, and the great outdoors. His true passion was sharing his hobbies with friends and family. JC really enjoyed westerns on TV and loved sneaking a Twinkie from time to time. He retired after working many years with the Gilbert school district. JC is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Church and great nephew Sean Schulman. He is survived by his niece Jaime Barrett, great nephew Bryan Barrett, Jordan Barrett, great niece Kaylee Hale, and best friend Steve Anderson. JC will be laid to rest on June 28th, 2021. Services will be held at the Gilbert Historical Museum from 11:00 – 1:00pm.

I love you Uncle J. I have so many fond memories from my younger days. I still remember the one birthday where I got your a few boxes of Twinkies and hid your gift inside. Every time I see handkerchiefs I think of you. Thanks for always looking over the kiddos. You will be forever missed. Tell Sean and Aunt Margaret I say hi.
