About Philip Kenneth Greer

Philip Kenneth Greer (84), a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on May 10, 2022. He was born on February 9, 1938 in Phoenix, AZ to Maude Platt and Kenneth Philip Greer. Philip was preceded in death by his son Russell John and grandson Caleb Joshua Crismon. Survivors include his beloved wife Gloria, his brother Paul (Marsha) Greer from Concord, CA, his sister Sylvia (Lanny) Westover from Phoenix, his daughters Tammy (David) Farnsworth from Queen Creek, Kathy (Bret) Hon from Gilbert, Debbie (John) Crismon from Queen Creek, Kristi (Jason) Whetten from Queen Creek, and sons Douglas (Sandra) Greer from Queen Creek and Bradley (Stephanie) Greer from Queen Creek; also 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as a bishop in Queen Creek from 1979-1984. He and his wife were dairy farmers all of their married life. He was a member of the United Dairymen of Arizona. He was also the only registered Pinzgauer cattle owner in Arizona for many years. He loved spending time with family and supporting his children and grandchildren in their many activities. He enjoyed traveling, boating at the lake and attending ASU football games. He loved serving the youth in church and giving service to others. Services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Centennial Ward building, 7361 S. Constellation Way, Gilbert, AZ 85296. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207. Flowers can be sent to Bunker’s – Gilbert Memorial Park, at 2100 E. Queen Creek Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85297

The Greers adopted our family when we moved to Chandler Heights. Phil took our son Eric everywhere with Doug. I love this family so very much and send prayers of comfort . ❤️
