About Paul Norman Franquist

Paul N. Franquist, born May 13, 1956 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born to Donald and Barbara Franquist in Detroit, Michigan. Paul dedicated over 47 years of his life as a Nurse Case Manager who shined his light on the lives of others. He approached his work with passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment. He left a lasting impression on the nursing profession and earned the respect of peers and colleagues by inspiring those around him to strive for greatness. As Paul would say, “Anticipate, anticipate, anticipate and don’t wait for it to happen, make it happen”.

He is survived by his brother Jon, and sister in- law Linda Franquist, sister Laurie Franquist, and brother in-law Edward Berko as well as many nieces and nephews: Whitney, Kyle, Jamie, Melissa, Lance, Chase, and Jenna, Blake, Grayson, Riley, Avery, Jameson, Lucas and Waylon. He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Barbara, and siblings Donnie and Vicki.

A memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 7 , 2023 at Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery and Funeral Home, 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297.

Paul was the consummate nursing professional and practiced with integrity, due diligence and compassion. His love for his calling was demonstrated daily.
