Pamela Kay Rattner (nee Boyer), 63, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away peacefully on January 04, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona.
Pam was born on December 3, 1960 to Don and Mary Boyer in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the youngest of 4 children. In 1987, Pam started working as a customer service agent at FedEx in Kansas City. Then in 1988, Pam transferred with FedEx and moved to Arizona with her daughter, Jennifer Shore. In 1990, she met Malcolm, and they wed in 1993, going on to have 3 children, Michael Allan, Taylor Brianne, and Kailey Brooke. Pam was a loving mother and wife. After leaving FedEx she stayed home to raise her children. In 2007, Pam moved to Florida with Malcolm, Michael, Taylor, and Kailey. Then in 2008, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Later that year she moved back to Arizona with Malcolm and their 3 children.
She fought a difficult battle over the next 15 years as MS took a progressive toll on her body and her life. However, she never let her ailment stop her from enjoying life and spending time with family and friends.
Pam is survived by her husband, Malcolm; daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Dayton Raper, son Michael, and daughters Taylor and Kailey, grandchildren Talan, Chloe, Capri, and Gonzalo, sister Connie Vilott and brother-in-law David Stuart, and sister Carolyn Bradford and brother-in-law Garland, as well as many nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Mary, and by her brother, Robert Boyer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 18th, at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, Arizona 85297 and will be followed by refreshments at the same location.
