Pamela Hackett

Mrs. Pam Hackett, daughter of Allen Elijah Davis and LaRue Estella Morley, born June 19, 1951, Odgen, Weber, UT, passed away January 21, 2024 in Queen Creek, Maricopa, AZ. She is survived by siblings, Carol Curry, Paul Davis, and Peggy Thomas, her husband, Warren G. Hackett of 52 years, children, Lisa Gail McBratney, Allan Warren Hackett, Kristy Marie Davis, and Daniel Blaine Hackett along with 14 grandchildren, Katie Lauren Graves, Jacob Benjamin McBratney, Luke Warren McBratney, Jillian Claire McBratney, Emma LaRue McBratney, Allan James Hackett, Hailey Marie Hackett, Makayla Grace Hackett, Kiley Jane Hackett, Aidan Paul Hackett, Hannah Marie Davis, Connor William Davis, Tanner Lee Davis, and Brynnley Sarah Davis.

Pam, affectionately known as “Honey” to her grandchildren, was the binding strength of her family. Her devotion to her children, grandchildren and husband was beyond compare. Family gatherings were joyous occasions where her children reflected on all the funny memories of growing up and the grandchildren would have fun playing together with “Honey” making sure their parents didn’t get too annoyed with them. It was said by them, “Honey was our protector”. Her last 13 years were spent in retirement with Warren and she was able to attend many of the family events with children and grandchildren until the last year when she was unable be there in person due to increasing health problems.

Pam was a lifelong and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served valiantly in many callings in the several Wards she attended throughout her life. Warren’s work required many transfers during their 52 years including living in California, Colorado, Arizona, Ohio, Kansas, and Alabama. Throughout all of this, she maintained a clean and organized household and ensured that her children were properly cared for. She also worked outside the home on several occasions to help out with the family finances.

She was a person who once you were her friend, you were her friend for life and she kept many friendships throughout the years even though many were far away in other States.

Her family adored her very much and she will be missed immensely.
