About Loren E. Kendall

It is with profound sadness that we announce Loren E. Kendall passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, at the age of 58, in Gilbert, Arizona, from a short battle of liver cancer. Loren was born, raised, and worked in Casa Grande, Arizona, while calling Gilbert, Arizona his home.

Loren was a master tradesman, who was extremely hard-working with a strong work ethic. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved off-roading, exploring, watching motorcross, loved history and spending time with family and friends. Whenever he saw the needs of others, he tried to fill that need and always offered to help. He was generous with his time and resources.

Loren was a devoted family man. Loren was predeceased by his father Kenneth Lee Kendall and brother Steven. Loren is survived by his wife, Lori Lagodny-Kendall, his children and their spouses/partners; Ashley (Robert), Aubrey (David), Alyse (Daniel), Noah (Emily), Lucas (Ashley) and Abigail (David). He is also survived by his grandchildren, his mother Dorthea Kendall, his in laws Clyde and Mary Lagodny, his siblings and spouses, Annette (Bruce), Ellen (Robert), and Micheal (Jenny) and lots of nieces and nephews and their children that he loved.

He will be remembered, for his faith in God, his warm smile, his contagious laugh, his love of music, his amazing singing voice and most of all, that he lived by his motto “Go BIG or Go Home”, in every aspect of his life.

Loren was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Loren’s Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Loren was always there for me at work and in my personal life. His work ethic and perfectionism made me a better man. He will be greatly missed and I will think of him every day. “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

My heart goes out to all of you. Loren was like all of my son, David’s, friends; part of our family. Those boys did anything and everything including going on trips with us. Whatever it was they were doing, was taken and enjoyed to the max! Our door was a revolving door for them. When I heard, “Hi Mom!”, it could be any of them especially Loren. He always had a hug for me. His laugh and twinkle in his eye roped you in to his wonderful sense of humor. What a sad loss for us all. I am sure that my husband and David were there to welcome him and help Loren with his wings.

My family and I were shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Loren’s passing. Loren was a dear friend of mine and I’m gonna Miss our long conversations we would have my condolences go out to Lori and the family. But one thing I do know in our conversations Lauren loved the Lord and he was a brother in Christ and this isn’t goodbye, but see you later.

I was very hurt and saddened by Loren’s passing. I was his best man and he was my best man. I will miss our occasional conversations on just catching up with each other. Loren will truly be missed. RIP my friend. Will Kimberlin

Our family was shocked and deeply saddened on learning the news of Loren’s passing. Growing up in Casa Grande, he was a great friend to my brother David and loved dearly by my family. Loren always had a smile on his face, stood up for doing the right thing, was always positive and genuinely kind – even as a kid. We know our brother David is welcoming Loren on the other side with a big smile and a hug. Prayers and deep condolences to his wife, children and all his family. We grieve with you.
