Linda Gail Chiago

Linda Gail Chiago, a loving spirited compassionate soul who touched the hearts of all who knew her, passed away on September 22, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on August 29, 1955 to Leonard and Clotilda Thomas of Blackwater, Arizona who preceded her in death.

Throughout her life, she was known for her kind compassionate spirit, deep devotion to her family and friends. Her strength in her faith through singing gospel songs was a guiding light, an inspiration of encouragement, grace, and hope to others.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Darrell Chiago Sr., her children, Michelle Chiago, Darrell Chiago Jr. brothers, Dale Thomas, Mitchell Thomas, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of the values and love she instilled in them will live on in the hearts of her surviving daughters, Mandy Chiago, Judy Marrufo, as well as her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters Carol Thomas, Cheryl (Thomas) Coppedge.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Hall in Salt River, AZ. on October 2, 2026 from 6pm - 10pm. location 9849 E. Earll Dr. Scottsdale, AZ. 85256. Graveside service at 7:00 a.m. Salt River Cemetery location 10661 E, Palm Lane Scottsdale, AZ. 85256

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Desert Banner Hospital in Mesa, Arizona for the loving care, kindness and compassion they showed to Linda. It was a comfort in her final days, for this the family is eternally grateful. God bless you all
