About Kenneth E. Jackson
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth E. Jackson, age 83, on April 10th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Kenneth, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was known for his kindness, wit, and unwavering generosity. His passing marks the end of an era, but his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born in Pendleton, Oregon, on December 3rd, 1942, his family moved to Colorado, where he grew up in Golden, met his wife Doris, eventually marrying her November 4th, 1961; they were married for 64 exciting years.
Throughout his life, he made a profound impact on his community through his professional business. Kenneth’s professional life was marked by his dedication and excellence as a Conductor on the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad. After his retirement, he began a successful business with his wife Doris and his sons Kenny and Jerry in the Phoenix metropolitan area for 42 years.
The family will continue to carry his legacy forward with the business, ethics, integrity, and compassion he instilled in all their lives.
Beyond his career, Kenneth has a passionate love for racing & motorsports; he had a talent for engineering and automotive mechanics.
Kenneth’s family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Doris N. Jackson, two sons Gerald P. Jackson, Kenneth D. Jackson, and Grandson, Brandon C Jackson. These family members will forever carry his legacy and memory with them. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth C. Jackson, Ollis R. Jackson, and his three brothers, Larry D. Jackson, Michael Jackson, and William C. Jackson.

Kenneth lived a long and wonderful life and his legacy will remain engrained in our hearts and lives, as will the love and memories he shared with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
