About Karla J. Borden

Karla J. Borden, 68, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 in Gilbert, Arizona. Karla was an avid traveler who traveled extensively with her husband Bruce. She loved to ski, hike, fly, ride motorcycles and dirt bikes, boating and waterskiing, 4x4 off-roading and loved the mountains.

Karla is survived by her husband Bruce, Sister, Kathy Pabst from Murrieta, CA, Brother, Jack (Lavonne) Wattier from Norfolk, NE, Sister, Jane (Steven) Pospisil from Belden, NE, Brother, Scott (Kim) Wattier from Randolph, NE.

Karla was preceded in death by her son, Christopher and parents, Arthur and Betty Wattier.

Karla’s love of life, laughter, compassion and encouragement for others and her beautiful smile will be forever missed.

The funeral service wild be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 E Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297, with a visitation beginning one and a half hours prior to the service at 3:30 PM.

Karla’s final resting place will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls Montana.

Karla & I went to school together K-12. She was always happy & smiling. I had not seen her in many years. I am so grateful she had such a full life. My condolences to all of her family.
