John Charles Sargent

John (Jack) Charles Sargent of Carter Lake, Iowa passed away April 23, 2021 in Apache Junction, AZ.

He was born in Omaha, NE and retired from OPPD as a Transportation Supervisor.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish; and to train / compete in field trial competitions with his beloved Black Lab Nitro.

He loved his family and his home in Arizona where he enjoyed his woodworking and traveling.

Preceded in death by: parents Fred and Cecilia, Father – in – Law Grant Scheer, and Grandson Zachary.

He is survived by his wife Kathy and children: Shon, Michaela, Matthew (Kelly), Jennifer and Grandchildren: Dustin, Julian, Tucker, Gregory, Grayson, Emerson, Shawn Michael and Grant.

Memorial service to be held June 12, 2pm in Erhard, MN. Celebration of life to be held in Carter Lake, IA at a later date.
