About Jill Wilcken Wilcock
Jill Wilcken Wilcock was a woman who gathered people—
into homes, into conversation, into belonging.
Born on June 19, 1944, in Fillmore, Utah, to Carl Lloyd Wilcken and Maurine Elone Roberts, Jill was preceded in death by her beloved husband Brent D. Wilcock and her sisters Kaylynn Ash and Suzanne Hadfield.
Jill carried with her a deep sense of devotion and faith. She passed on January 15, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona, leaving behind a legacy rooted in connection, inclusion, and love.
She was cheerful, involved, and faithful—
a natural connector whose life quietly echoed a simple truth:
all are welcome here.
Jill moved through life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, holding each role with tenderness and intention.
She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses who were embraced fully into her heart:
Brent Derek Wilcock
(Shawnah Gillespie)
Wendi Jade,
Holli Gardner,
(Troy Gardner)
Devin Wilcock,
(Tiffany Boulter)
John Dalen Wilcock,
(Alison Houser)
Trisni Fish,
(Chris Fish)
She delighted in her 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren —her beloved “Sweetie Pot Pies” each one held with pride, and unwavering affection.
Jill was also survived by her brother Von Wilcken whom she shared a loving bond.
Her faith in her Savior Jesus Christ was steady.
Her love was practical and present.
Her welcome was genuine.
Jill leaves behind more than memories.
She leaves a way of being that reminds us that devotion matters,
that connection is sacred,
and that love, when lived generously, carries forward long after goodbye.
Jill’s memorial service will be held January 30, 2026 at 10am 9431 E Point Twenty-Two Blvd, Mesa, AZ 85212
