About Janae Nicole Levine

Janae Nicole Levine, 28, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. Janae will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Janae was a wonderful mother and daughter who enjoyed life and scary movies, and giving her family a really hard time watching Rom-Com movies. She loved sports, and loved the Padres and Diamondbacks and was a good game buddy to her sister and playing virtual games and being a good friend to her big brother. She is now home with Grandparents Carl and VerDon Brooksby and Aunt Janene Jaynes who preceded her in death.

Janae is survived by her son, Alec, parents – Don and Josie Brooksby, siblings – Jessica Mitchell (Matthew) and family, Jennifer Brooksby, Brandon Brooksby, former husband Ian Levine, in-laws Charlie and Annette Levine, Amanda Chapman (Jason) and family, and Ethan Levine.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Queen Creek Az North Stake Center – 22035 E. Ocotillo Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85242 – just west side of Queen Creek High School, services will start at 12:00 noon with viewing and visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Janae will be interred at the Gilbert Memorial Park by the Bunker Family.

Sending so much love and prayers to your sweet family as you experience the tremendous grief of losing your daughter, sister, and mom. I’m praying you feel the loving arms of the Savior wrapped around you and that you also feel her presence near. I loved getting to know Janae and the light she brought wherever she went. She was so kind and so easy to talk to. I’m grateful for our friendship and the time I had to know her. Her legacy will live on through all who knew and loved her here.

My deepest condolences, I did not know Janae or her family but I drove past as her gurney was being loaded in the ambulance, and the image will forever remain in my mind and in my heart. I pray for comfort and healing for her family and all those involved. I am truly sorry for your loss.
