There is one thing that he loves is his wife more than anything else inside of this world. Jim is a sibling to my granddad now they are both angels above us. I may not known him personally but he was a great man towards everyone. Towards the Easterling family rest of them who lived in San Diego I am praying and sharing my condolences and sympathy with this tragic loss. May you rest peacefully and happiness

I’ve known Jim for 25 years, including serving with him multiple terms as an elected member of the town’s planning group. Jim was dedicated to the community in so many ways, and a political mentor to me. God rest his kind soul!

All of us who knew Jim and loved him will miss him dearly. He was not only an exemplary citizen, but a beautiful human inside and out. Passionate about his work, his family, his spirituality and his passion for cycling and exercise. He was the mastermind behind our home remodel on the ranch in Alpine 15 years ago and his work ethic and attention to detail were evident. Never forgotten, he leaves behind a beautiful legacy, especially to his family.

Jim always had a ready welcoming smile and a genuine interest in how you were doing. He was an inspiration for a positive outlook on life regardless of the challenge to be faced. I was proud to have him as a cousin.
