James Mears

James Brian Mears passed away on December 6, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his wife and two daughters.

James (Jim) was born in Santa Monica, Ca. on July 28, 1961 to Jack and Kathleen Mears. He grew up in Thousand Oaks, Ca. and graduated from Thousand Oaks High school. He attended California Lutheran College for a few years. He married his wife, Cheryl (Wirthlin) on August 18, 1984 and they resided in Simi Valley, Ca. until they both retired and relocated to San Tan Valley, Az. in 2022 to be closer to their grandkids and family.

Jim is survived by his mother, Kathleen Mears, Brother, Michael Mears, Wife Cheryl, two daughters, Melissa Agnew and Catherine Boswell, and 3 grandsons, Mason, Brody and Wyatt Agnew.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to either the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
