About Harry E. Williams, Jr.

Harry E. Williams, Jr. 82, passed away on April 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with acute AML, a form of leukemia.

Harry was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona, with his parents, grandmother, and two sisters in 1953. He graduated from Arcadia High School in Scottsdale in 1962. Harry was affectionately called “Butch”.

Butch enjoyed a long and dedicated career in the airline industry, retiring from Western and Delta Airlines with 32 years of service.

He shared 46 years of marriage with his wife, Tamara , and together they made their home in Phoenix, Arizona; Kona, Hawaii; and Coronado, California. Harry loved the boating life and cherished his time on the water, especially in Kona and Coronado. He was a devoted husband and father always putting his family first.

Butch is survived by his loving wife, Tamara , eight children and their spouses; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and the love he showed to all who knew him.

A graveside service/celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 11:00 am at Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery, 2100 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ. 85297 . In addition to this celebration of life, family plans Saturday July 25, 2026 part of his ashes sent out to sea in San Diego, CA for his love of the sea.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Butch’s memory to charity of choice.
