Grant Vernon Scheer

Our beloved husband and father, Grant Scheer of Apache Junction, AZ passed away peacefully in his home, with his wife by his side, on 01/02/2021.
Grant, the son of Julia and William Scheer, was born in 1930 and grew up in Erhard, Minnesota.
Grant married Marilyn Hoglund in 1951. Grant owned his own trucking business and together they farmed and raised their family.
In later years Grant and Marilyn enjoyed life on Lake Eunice near Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. They loved to travel together, spend time with family and dancing everywhere they could.
Grant is survived by his wife Marilyn, dance partner of 69 years.
Daughters: Kathy (Jack), Deborah (Rob), Shari (Tom), Peggy (Tone’).
Grandchildren: Matt (Kelly), Jenni, Nichole (Tyler), Derek (Timber).
Great Grandchildren: Greg, Grace, Weston, Grant, Sawyer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent to Grace Lutheran Church, 726 Fergus Ave, Erhard, MN 56534 in Grant’s name.
