Donna May Brinton LeBaron

Donna May Brinton LeBaron (93) passed away on September 22, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 18, 1933, in Mesa, Arizona, the youngest child of Van Buren and Vida Driggs Brinton. She loved living in Mesa, and it was home for nearly all of her life.

Donna married Milo Richard LeBaron Jr. in the Mesa Arizona Temple, where they were sealed for time and eternity. They shared more than 61 wonderful years together before his passing in 2013. They were blessed with six children: Christi Palmer (Denny), Cherie Rapier (Dave), Laura Skinner (Dan), Milo LeBaron III (Julia), Diana Huish (Eric), and Elise Nielsen. Their family continued to grow with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and even five great-great-grandchildren.

More than anything, Donna loved her family. Her happiest times were simply being together—at home, at the cabin, traveling, camping, playing games, celebrating holidays, and making memories. Donna had a deep love for Jesus Christ and spent her life serving Him, her family and others. She served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings. Donna especially loved the many years she served in the Mesa Temple and the years she and Milo spent serving missions together in Arizona, California, Nauvoo, and Temple Square.

We will miss our mother greatly, but we are so thankful for the way she taught us, through both her words and her actions, to follow one of her favorite scriptures: “Choose you this day whom ye will serve … but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” —Joshua 24:15

In the last 9 months of her life, Donna was lovingly cared for by Dallin, El, Lemon, and Annaliza, along with Julia and the wonderful staff at Citrus Manor and Heart of Healing Hospice. Our family will always be grateful for the love, kindness, and tender care they gave our mother.

To allow as many as possible of Donna’s posterity of 178 to gather together to celebrate her life, funeral services will be on Saturday, November 7, 2026. A visitation will be held Friday, November 6, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Mesa Central Stake Center, 925 N. Harris St., Mesa, Arizona. On Saturday, November 7, a visitation will be held from 10:15–10:50 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Mesa Central Stake Center.
