David Roberts

David Oren Roberts, 72, passed away on April 12, 2019 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on April 29, 1946 in Coolidge, Arizona to Oren and Louise Roberts. David was one of 14 children and served in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam veteran and was honorably discharged.

David was also a Deputy Sheriff for Pinal County, which then led him to a career as the Superintendent for the Pinal County Highway Department before his retirement. David enjoyed fishing, biking, and the laughter of his grandchildren. He made it a point to always make others smile.

David is survived by his wife, June Roberts; daughters, Amber (Travis) Kidd, Rebecca Roberts, Shelly (Dan) Coffey; son, Jarrod Barr; and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 9:30am on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
