Darrell Domenic Boito

A note to Darrell (and his family). It has been three months since you passed. I really miss our daily interactions at work. We made a good team working on product development and manufacturing activities. You are and always will be just plain brilliant! Your work on machine learning and so many different sensor technologies forged a path forward we will follow for a long time. We at Miller Edge collectively helped raise you over the past 16-years from a scrawny pup to the amazing husband and father you were destined to be. You are sorely missed in oh so many ways. You changed the lives of everyone you met for the better and I am sure you are busy doing the same right now. Gone but never forgotten, my friend. Kelly

I didn’t get a chance to come and show my respects at the service but thought I would like to drop a few memories I have if Darrell. We first met when we went to Hendrix and we were apart of a small group of friends. This continued on to Dobson where we would eat lunch together most days. Darell was a very cool guy and I will always remember that time we spent together.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

Dear Michelle, Elizabeth, Darrell and I were colleagues at Miller Edge for over 16 years and Hugh had the pleasure spending time with him at a number of company functions. We worked in the same office where I saw him grow in so many ways. From a bright young man with aspirations working the shop floor, to an Engineer assisting with and supervising so may projects. Most of all, it was such a joy to see him find love and build a family. I was honored to attend your wedding…one that will always be so fondly remembered. I truly did not know Darrell well on a personal level. He would speak briefly of his family and was always eager to show his daughter off with a huge smile in the process of doing so. Miller Edge will not be the same without him. Professionally he was an amazing Leader and Co-Worker and seemed to have a gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Darrell will not only be missed by family and friends, Miller Edge will not be the same without him and his knowledge. Visits from him at our PA plant will be missed. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss.

Darrell it’s been a little over a week and it still doesn’t seem real that you are no longer with us ? I will forever remember you as being kind, patient and always willing to help those around you. I will remember what a great uncle you were to my boys and how much they loved you. I will remember what a great husband you were to my sister & amazing dad to Elizabeth. Our family get togethers definitely won’t be the same without you and I will miss telling you to take “one more bite” because my parents made to much food. I hope you know your organs were matched to recipients & you helped save so many lives! That’s just a testament to the guy you were and I know their families will be forever grateful. May you rest in peace darrell and we love you!

Brian and Boito family, i offer up my thoughts and prayers for you all during this great time of sadness, shock. Brian and Sharon, my husband and i know so well experiencing the loss of a child. Your son, someone who you created, gave life to – then to lose them so abruptly – it is a shock and a forever void in your hearts and souls. this is life long loss, some days you will wonder how you make it through the day, minute. Other days thinking of him will bring you a moment of happiness. No one could ever tell you, you will get over it, because you don’t. our love and thoughts to the entire family. Darryl was a sweet, sweet soul and God bless him for all the lives. He is saving. I know how much he loved his family and how much you will miss him. I’m so sorry I’ll be out of town the day of the services but all my thoughts and prayers are with you all! I love you!

I met Darrell Boito during the pandemic when Elizabeth was born. I really did not know what he looked like because he wore a mask all the time. He was an outstanding father more than anything he wanted Elizabeth to thrive in the world. He treated his family with love and respect. I will miss him greatly.

Love you Darrell everything people have mention about you was true and the way you value your life was the same even when we were both kids back at Hendrix and Dobson. Ill never forget you because you impacted my life with compassion helping me understanding my school work when most people didn’t show me that compassion and that I will never forget .
