Cathy Colleen O’Brien

Cathy Colleen O’Brien, of Maricopa, AZ, passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 68.

Cathy is survived by her husband Patrick O’Brien; her children Holly Petrilli, Ashley Hancock, and Tony Bailand; her brother, Tom Nofzinger, and (5) grandchildren, Bailee, Ethan, Landon, Everleigh, and Greyson. She is predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Betty Russell.

Cathy was born in Monroe, MI on January 17, 1954 to Edward and Fern Murphy. A devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she spent much of her life as a caregiver, running her own in home daycare. She later went on to love and build a successful career in the field of Credit/Accounting Management. She adored her family, and especially her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:00 am on March 4, 2022 at the Gilbert Memorial Park. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 2100 E Queen Creek Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85297.
