A Life Remembered
Obituary
Brian Richard Clark, 47, was showered with love as he left our side, July 1, 2022. He leaves behind his loving wife, Charmaine Terry Clark (47), their eldest twins, a son Jackson Terry Clark (18), a daughter Avery Charmaine Clark (18), and their youngest daughter Maclane Raquel Clark (13). Brian was born May 23, 1975, in Hershey, PA to Beth Millington Clark and Richard Paul Clark. He was raised with his younger brother Steven Michael Clark in Camp Hill, PA and had fond memories of hunting on the family farm in East Waterford, PA with his immediate and extended family, continuing the tradition each year traveling back annually throughout his adult life. Learning to golf at young age brought him success and joy, and it remained a source of happiness for him throughout all the years of his life. He was a stellar baseball player at Cedar Cliff High School where he graduated from in 1993.
Brian went on to earn a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1998. He began dating his wife Charmaine there in 1995, and they have wonderful memories of cheering on the Hokie football team together with friends. They were married on September 18, 1999 overlooking the Potomac River, and throughout their 27 years together built family homes in Ohio, Virginia, and Arizona. They were blessed with three beautiful children, and were so proud to raise and cheer each of them on in their many athletic events, academic achievements, and artistic performances over the years. This past year, Brian especially enjoyed bonding with his twins’ through their extensive college search. He was so grateful to be able to witness their high school graduation this past May, and was eager and excited to support them in their future academic and athletic dreams. His family will always remember him for his never-ending strength and support for each of them; his perseverance of selflessness and commitment to their happiness was truly remarkable. His calming presence, kind eyes, sweet dimpled smile, loving hands and hugs, comforting advice, and consistent positive energy, they will forever cherish through his memory.
Brian was dedicated in providing for his family as he worked hard to build a successful 25 year career. Upon college graduation, he utilized his engineering skills first within the telecommunications industry working for Lucent Technologies in Columbus, Ohio, and then Cable & Wireless, and Nextel in Northern Virginia. In 2006 he took a detour to pursue his dream of incorporating golf into his daily life, opening a Golf Retail & Fitting Center in Sterling, VA. 2007 provided him the opportunity to relocate across the country to work with Dial Consumer Products. He loved the energy the West Coast provided, and he and his family built a life together these past 15 years in Gilbert, AZ. He grew his Supply-Chain and Operations expertise within Henkel Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ, Amazon in Seattle, WA, and finally landed at his professional home with Isagenix in early 2017. He was so thankful for the company culture, vision, quality of life, and he grew in spirit through the leadership opportunities he was offered there; most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations. Brian was known for caring deeply about his teams, always prioritizing others needs before his own, always making others feel comfortable and welcome through conversation, and always remaining truly humble, deflecting any personally deserved credit. He was enjoyed, respected, and loved by his colleagues. Professionally, he will be remembered for bringing positive energy, kindness, wisdom, leadership, and humility to his workplace every day.
Brian had a unique and profound way of connecting with people. Relationships were of the utmost importance to him, and in every aspect of his life he showed kindness and unwavering support of others. Brian brought a calm yet positive energy into the world that cannot be replaced. As we navigate the future without him, we can only hope to approach the world with all of the kindness, generosity, strength, and humility that he displayed to every person he encountered in his life.
His family is so appreciative of the outpouring of support they have received from family, friends, colleagues, and the community.
