My Condolences Sandy, I was doom scrolling today and came across Alan’s obituary. When I think of him the first thing that comes to mind is “ fun loving “. It’s been a very long time but I still have good memories of our trips to visit you in Cedar Rapids. I wish you well, Paul

I was so sorry to hear that Al has passed away. We graduated from Clear Lake High School in the class of “67, and I always thought he was a very nice guy. My prayers are offered up for Al’s family.

I first met Al through my Mothers job at ADP. She and Sandy were co workers and then fast friends. Sandy and Al were gracious enough to let me hold my mom’s surprise 50th birthday party at their home, the surprise was mine as mom was only turning 49! Al would rib me with this morsel at our annual get togethers for the holidays which were many. We lost touch when we moved back to Maryland but the magic of the internet allowed us to keep tabs on each other. They are having a party with Al up there for sure, his stories can entertain an eternity! Rest easy Al and thanks for the laughs!
